One of the biggest predictors of learning to read is strong oral language skills. In this class, a certified speech-language pathologist leads interactive activities and gives families tips to boost oral language at home. Each session will include a fun theme with read alouds, songs, rhymes, vocabulary enrichment, and cognitive activities. Parents/caregivers are asked to stay and support their child during the class and will be given take home activities and tips to boost language and pre-reading skills for years to come.
Every week will be a new theme. Come to one session or come every week! Siblings close to the target age range are welcome to register with permission of instructor.
