Ready to Read | Early Readers Club - Ages PreK thru Grade 2 (Session 4)
#: 390177    ID:    Section: S4
Description:

In this class, a certified speech-language pathologist leads interactive activities focused on more advanced vocabulary, reading comprehension, critical thinking, as well as phonological awareness using children’s literature. Whether your child is a brand new reader or is reading independently, this class will boost their skills in thinking, understanding, and expressing ideas through literature. Parents/caregivers are welcome to observe or wait elsewhere for their children during class as long as your child can use the bathroom independently and return to the classroom. Take-home activities and tips for using books to boost thinking and connection building at home will provided following each session. Each week will have a new fun theme that exposes children to new concepts and sparks their thinking skills with hands on learning opportunities.

Come to one session or come every week! Siblings close to the target age range are welcome to register with permission of instructor.
